Upcoming Election in Hot Springs Village To Be Held

vote spelled out in scrabble tilesThe timeline going forward regarding the upcoming Board Member election is set for the coming weeks. The next important date to note is Friday, February 23, 2024. This is when ballots will be mailed from the third-party election company that the Hot Springs Village POA. Ballots will only be mailed to members of the POA that are in good standing. 

Wednesday, March 27, 2024, is the set deadline for ballots to be returned. After tabulation, the results will be sent out by the Hot Springs Village POA General Manager so watch your e-mail. 

 

Rental Properties Registration Policy Enacted

welcome signRental properties here in Hot Springs Village will have to be registered with the Hot Springs Village POA going forward. This policy will “streamline communication and enhance the overall experience for residents and visitors.” 

The deadline to register these properties will be March 31st, 2024 and the fee for each rental property will be $50 and will be good for one year. To register the properties head to the new Member Portal https://members.explorethevillage.com/ under the “Forms” tab or at Member Services at the POA Administration Building. Community Gathers To Keep Hot Springs Village Beautiful!

caution coneHot Springs Village residents can participate in an event that will help keep the Village free of litter. Keep Hot Springs Village Beautiful is a group that works in conjunction with Keep Arkansas Beautiful to gather volunteers to help make the village free of trash and debris. This Saturday, starting at 9 a.m., volunteers, dressed in bright yellow safety vests, will be present on three busy roads. This will include the entirety of DeSoto, Ponce from DeSoto to Highway 5, as well as Balearic from Ponce to Minorca. Drivers should be aware that these volunteers will be in the area and should proceed with caution.
