Major Golf Tournament Moves That Will Take Place This Year

golfer on a teeThe current Corona Virus Pandemic has thrown a wrench into all major sports seasons both current and upcoming. In regards to golf all of the major golf associations, including the USGA, R&A, PGA Tour, PGA of America, European Tour, LPGA Tour and the Masters, have gotten together to issue a statement to address the future of the current season. Here are some takeaways from the announcement that will be a big change to the upcoming season. 

Ways To Enjoy Hot Springs Village Amenities While Social Distancing

Even though many of our amenities in Hot Springs Village currently are closed, there are still things you can do while still maintaining the social distancing guidelines. Hiking our beautiful trails, including the John A. and Mildred B. Cooper Nature Preserve Trail, is a great way to get outside and get some fresh air. Of course you can’t forget about your dog! The DeSoto Dog Park is open just be sure to follow all rules and guidelines.  Fishing on the lakes is also great way to experience the beauty of Hot Springs Village.  As a general rule be sure to call ahead to any faciliity or activity that you can to be sure that it is indeed open for your enjoyment. Please adhere to the requests to self isolate and stay home if you feel ill.

Two Hot Springs Village Courses Make Top Ten List

Hot Springs Village offers 9 professionally designed golf courses and boasts of year round golfing due to its moderate climate. Recently two of these courses were included in the top 10 golf courses in Arkansas by Golfers’ Choice. Our Ponce de Leon course came in at number 8 and Granada came in at number 1. The annual state Golfers Choice list is compiled from reviews it receives.
