You need to be prepared for every situation! National Preparedness Month is observed every September, and this year was no different. Most people who prepare for disasters or unexpected events will equip themselves with what is necessary. However, your pets also need to be a part of that plan. It is essential to know what to prepare for them both during the emergency and after. The Red Cross and Ready.gov are great resources for everyone to prepare for emergencies.

Holiday Hours for Local Amenitites

multiple signs with attention This is a reminder that the following amenities will have modified operating hours for the Labor Day holiday. The Outdoor Pool will be open for its final day of operation on Monday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Enjoy it while you can! The Coronado Fitness Center hours on Monday will be from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.; however, no classes will be held that day.

A new opportunity through the Hot Springs Village Animal Welfare League has a position that may be right up your alley. They require a volunteer to help with the AWL’s Lily Alert system. This system is in place to help lost, and missing pets find their way back to their owners.
