Be sure to tune in to watch PBS as they present the National Memorial Day Concert. The concert returns this Sunday, May 24, 2020 for a special presentation hosted by Tony Award-winner Joe Mantegna and Emmy Award-winner Gary Sinise. The concert will also feature such distinguished guests as retired General Colin L. Powell along with musical guests Trace Adkins,  Renée Fleming, Kelli O'Hara and CeCe Winans. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, they are unable to present the traditional live concert on the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol. In order to ensure the health and safety of all involved they will instead feature a special 90-minute presentation of the National Memorial Day Concert that will highlight content relevant to these unprecedented times. They will also be celebrating both the front line responders to this pandemic as well as continue the tradition of honoring and remembering our troops, veterans, wounded warriors, the men and women who have given the ultimate sacrifice for our country and their families. Check your local listings for times. The concert will also be streaming on YouTube https://youtu.be/D0LUUK7smGI and will be available Sunday evening.
