Opera and A Cappella at Woodlands Auditorium

If your calendar is free on September 16 and 17, consider attending two very different musical acts hosted by Woodlands Auditorium! On Friday, September 16, come to the venue to enjoy the 1787 opera "Don Giovanni" by the incomparable Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The following day, the auditorium will switch gears to host the Crystal Chimes Chorus as they sing their dreams with the ringing chords of a cappella barbershop harmony. Never let it be said that Woodlands Auditorium lacks variety!

"Don Giovanni" tells the story of an arrogant and promiscuous nobleman of the same name. This work was based on the legend of Don Juan and masterfully mixes elements of comedy, drama, and the supernatural. Although it is sung in Italian, English supertitles will be present to allow for maximum accessibility and enjoyment. The show begins at 7 p.m., with general admission tickets priced at $30 per person. Purchase yours today by following this link!

If you would prefer something a bit more contemporary, how about the sweet sounds of barbershop harmony? On Saturday, September 17 at 7 p.m., the Crystal Chimes Chorus proudly presents "Friends and Family Night"! The show will be sung in two parts; the first explores the dream of a perspective member who hopes to join the chorus. The second is a musical tribute to God and Country, representing the dream of America. General admission tickets are $12 each and can be purchased here. Be sure to grab yours early or risk missing out on this incredible performance!
