November in Hot Springs Village is already shaping up to be one great month! In this post, we will highlight a selection of some of the many fun events scheduled for next month in HSV, including a flower sale, softball, pain management classes, and more!

HSV Senior Softball

When: September 10 through November 19, 2015. Games & practice are on Thursdays at 8:30 a.m.

Where: Paul Bewie Boys & Girls Club Fields, just north of the West Gate

The Fall softball season is here! Open to all men 50+ years old and women 35+ years old. All skill levels are welcome. Special rules will be in place to ensure senior-friendly play. For more information, contact Dennis Kessen at 501-226-5090.

Diabetes Self-Management Education Class

When: Mondays, November 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, and December 7 from 9 to 11 a.m.

Where: Coronado Community Center, Room 5 - 150 Ponderosa Lane

Are you tired of scheduling your whole life around diabetes? Attend this class to learn about simple and useful lifestyle changes that can lead to better quality of life. A trained professional from the St. Vincent McAuley Senior Center & Oaklawn Center of Aging​ will lead each class. Register by calling 501-623-0020​.

Poinsettia Sale

When: Deadline to order is November 4. Plants will be delivered in the first week of December.

The Men's Village Garden Club's annual Poinsettia Sale is here! This sale is the club's only fund raiser, allowing them to complete local beautification projects within the Village. The plants are available in two sizes: 6-inch pots for $8 and 8-inch pots for $15 in red, pink and white. Contact Craig Blackburn at 915-8520 or email cblackburn222@hotmail.com to place your order.

Back Pain and Sciatica Workshop​

When: Saturday, November 7 from 11 a.m. to 12: 30 p.m.

Where: Coronado Fitness Center - 160 Ponderosa Lane

If you suffer from back pain and/or sciatica, you may want to consider attending this informative class. The workshop will be led by Lee Sowerbutts, a trained physical therapist at Village Golf & Physical Therapy Center. His goal will be to naturally alleviate your pain! Only 20 spots are available, so be sure to claim yours today. Fall Arts and Crafts Fair

When: Saturday, November 21 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Where: Coronado Community Center - 150 Ponderosa Lane
