The Muses Project Presents "Broadway Cabaret"

Submitted by on

In Greek mythology, the Muses were nine goddesses who were the source of all mankind's artistic inspiration. In modern times, inspiration often comes from more diverse sources, but the Muses live on the form of the Muses Creative Artistry Project! This amazing group helps promote the classical arts, such as music, theater, and dance, in central Arkansas year-round. This weekend in Hot Springs Village, don't miss your chance to observe artistic inspiration first-hand in the form of the "Broadway Cabaret" musical concert!

The 90-minute concert will be occurring in two halves this Friday, June 17, beginning at 7:30 p.m. at Woodlands Auditorium. The show will feature 23 national and local professional singers, dancers, and instrumentalists performing numerous solos, duets, quartets, ensembles, instrumental, and dance numbers, written for eleven hit Broadway shows. Included in the show are musical selections from Annie Get Your Gun, Guys & Dolls, Sweeney Todd, Les Miserables, Westside Story, The King & I, Candide, Chicago, Into the Woods, Man of La Mancha, and Cabaret.

Tickets to the show are $30 per person and can be purchased here. If you would like to learn more about the event or the Muses Creative Artistry Project itself, head over to their website, themusesproject.org.
