Learn to Cook with Herbs Like a Chef

Submitted by on

Would you like to know how to cook with garden-fresh herbs like a professional chef? Rosemary Hill Herb Farm's Chef Mike Tripp is here to help you learn from the best! On Saturday, August 13 at 2 p.m., Chef Mike will be hosting an amazing afternoon of herbal cooking at the Coronado Community Center (150 Ponderosa Lane)! The delicious menu includes items such as salad greens with herb Vinaigrette, Marinated Herbal Steak, Tarragon Scallion Deviled Eggs, Pan Roasted Herbed New Potatoes, and Homemade Herb Crusted French Bread.

In order to ensure the tastiness of each recipe, attendees will enjoy sampling all the chef's freshly-made creations. In addition, red wine will be provided to wash down the rich herbal goodness. Debbie Tripp (also of Rosemary Hill Herb Farm) will be in attendance as well so that she may offer growing tips for all the would-be herbal gardeners. Pots of the same herbs used in Chef Mike's recipes will be available for purchase for those who wish to start their own garden at home. The cost of this great event is $25.00 per person (+ tax) for property owners and $30.00 per person (+ tax) for non-property owners. If you would like to learn more, please feel free to call Craig Annen at 501-922-5050.
