Inclement Weather Forces Changes To POA Amenities

safety first signWith the on-set of inclement weather it is always good to have certain contact information close at hand if you should ever need it. Here is some helpful information that you can use when an emergency situation happens to you or your family. As always it is important to stay home if at all possible when there is deteriorating road conditions. It is imperative that emergency vehicles and road crews are able to do their jobs when bad weather happens. Please use caution if you must travel. These roads were closed today:

  • Fresno Rd. between Ponferrada Way and Carmona Rd.
  • Barcelona Rd. between Tomino Way and Paso Way
  • Balearic Rd. between Coronado Dr. and Reata Way

THe Fire Department will be staffed and readily available to respond to emergencies and fire calls. Please call 911 if an emergency should arise. If your power should fail then these fire stations will be open and available for use as a warming station should the need arise. If you need transportation to one of these warming stations then please call the non-emergency number for the Hot Springs Village Police Department at 501-922-0011. If our police station loses power then please call Police Dispatch directly at their mobile number of 501-209-6000.
 
Trash collection and recycling services will be disrupted by this weather event and look for updates as the event unfolds. As soon as conditions improve these services will resume. Any scheduled special pickups that were set to happen on Friday will be postponed to next Friday, February 11th. Any issues that you may have pertaining to water or sewer services should call the Water Treatment Plant at 501-922-1323. Any animal complaints should be directed to Animal Control at 501-922-6547.

If there are any instances of power outages reported here in Hot Spring Village then you are advised to call your electric provider. First Electric can be reached at 1-800-827-3322 or 1-800-489-6716 or Entergy at 1-800-368-3749 or 1-877-492-7238.
 
All golf and recreation facilities were closed today and all eight of the golf courses will be closed Friday. Check the advisory page for any updates to recreation facilities for their Friday hours or closures.
