Chilly Outside? Come into the Coronado Center!

Think the weather has turned too cold to have fun in the great outdoors? Take the fun to the great indoors instead! There are always lots of entertaining events happening inside the Coronado Community Center, and December is no exception. Keep reading to learn about some fun (and warm) activities that are coming up in Hot Springs Village's favorite gathering place!

We've told you before about the great new addition to the Coronado Center, the Escape Room! Have you had a chance to check it out? If you aren't familiar with them, escape rooms allow you and your friends to attempt to find hidden clues and keys while locked within a themed room. If you can escape before time runs out, then you've won! Escape rooms are a great way to build cooperation and put your problem-solving skills to the test. The latest incarnation of the HSV Escape Room is titled "Christmas Gift Mania" and involves your team attempting to locate lost Christmas gifts and unlocking the door in time to drop them off with the UPS driver! Be sure to reserve your preferred time here (they often sell out).

If you're looking for a more relaxing activity, why not head over to the Coronado Center Library for one of their scheduled movie showings? Upcoming films include "La La Land" on December 28 and "Frozen" on December 30! Admission is totally free!

If you're musically inclined, there's the always-entertaining Musical Note featuring Jackie B and Me, whose next show will be on Tuesday, December 26 at 7:30 p.m. Winners of the 2016 Ozark Blues Challenge, Jackie and Larry are two of the very best blues artists in the area. Their music ranges from pop to country, jazz to the blues, and '40s up to the present.
