Hot Springs Village Pickleball Club to Host Open House

pickleballThe Hot Springs Village Pickleball Club is having an Open House on June 18th from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Desoto Courts located at 209 Desoto Blvd here in Hot Springs Village. The Club will be teaching the basics of pickleball at this event. They will also be providing equipment and water for all participants. No reservations are required but it is recommended that you wear comfortable athletic wear and shoes.

Green Market Returns to Hot Springs Village

bunch of carrotsHot Springs Village residents will be happy to see its local farmers market return in early May! The Green Market will be open for business on May 5th at Grove Park, located at 1105 DeSoto Blvd. across from Woodlands Auditorium, here in the Village. Every Thursday the market will be open for 4 hours in the morning from 8 a.m.-12 p.m. through the end of September. 

Hot Springs Village Police Department Offer Informative Class

Have you ever thought about how a police department operates? Well, now you can. The Hot Springs Village Citizen’s Police Academy, which was started in 2014, is offering their Citizen’s Police Academy class to area residents. The class meets once a week on Thursdays starting March 31st at 6 p.m.for a total of 8 sessions. The classes will meet at the Police Training Center located at 301 Balearic Rd. Hot Springs Village. The class has a limit of 40 attendees per session so be sure to pick up an application at the Police Station, located at 113 Calella Rd. Hot Springs Village, or you can click here. The application will go through an approval process and you will be contacted about it after applying.
