Citizens Police Academy Offers Program

police lightHot Springs Village Police Department is hosting a program for interested villagers who would like to learn more about the Department and its operations. The Citizens Police Academy program first had its beginnings in April 2014. The program is a six-week education program that will begin this session on September 4th. It will take place at the HSVPD training room at the Coronado Center (Room 5) every Thursday, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. This session will continue till October 9th, with graduation occurring on that day. The deadline for this session is August 20th, so be sure to register quickly. Other sessions will be offered, so if you miss this deadline, be sure to watch out for another session provided. 

Some of the topics that will be discussed will be Crime Prevention, Major Crimes, Emergency Communications, and how the police serve the community here in the village.
