Hot Springs Village Police Department is hosting a program for interested villagers who would like to learn more about the Department and its operations. The Citizens Police Academy began in April 2014. The program is a six-week education program that will begin this session on September 1st. It will take place at the HSVPD training room at the Coronado Center (Room 5) every Thursday, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. This session will continue till October 6th, with graduation occurring on that day. The deadline for this session is August 26th, so be sure to register quickly. 

Some of the topics that will be discussed will be Crime Prevention, Major Crimes, Emergency Communications, and how the police serve the community here in the village.
